Work Projects...
On a camp facility with 150 acres, retreat groups in every weekend, summers
filled with campers... There is always work to be done. Things to be
repaired. Walls to be painted. Grass to be mowed. Trees to be
cut. If you or our group is interested in volunteering for a day, a week, or
even just a couple of hours, please call the camp office to find out how you can
help.
Donations...
Camp Sankanac is an accredited charitable organization and as such can accept
tax deductible donations. Do you have some old lawn care or construction
equipment laying around? An old car? Why not donate it and receive the
benefits of the tax deduction for its value as well as the knowledge that it will
be put to work in the service of God?
Mission Trips to China...
"Help Open Doors of Opportunity in Mainland China"
Since 1998, Camp Sankanac has networked with MCMI (Mainland China Mission International) to send and receive campers to and from China. So great was the response on both sides that it became apparent
that had a much greater plan for China.
In 2000, BCM International (Bible-Centered Ministries, Rev. Robert Evans, president), Camp Sankanac's parent organization and MCMI voted to partner together for the great task at hand. MCMI is the vehicle to enter China through its many years of service and contact in China. BCM, as well as other like-minded missions, is excited to enter this vast field, China.
BCM is charged with the great task and opportunity to provide camping leadership and special-needs
assistance, both of which are BCM's benchmarks.
