SUMMER CAMP PARENT INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in sending your child to Camp Sankanac. We are looking forward to having your child here. As we plan for camp, our desire is to make it a rewarding experience for every child who attends

Every cabin is supervised by a counselor prepared to give helpful care to each camper. Competent leadership provided at Sankanac means each camper will receive the best of care. We are very conscious of the responsibility involved in having children in our care, and every precaution is taken for safety and health measures in every phase of camp life.

With the Lord's enablement, we trust to make your child's stay a most rewarding and memorable experience. We are trusting each will return home at the end of the camp period stronger physically, mentally and spiritually. Please feel free to contact us concerning any questions you might have.

WHAT TO BRING: Bible, sleeping bag (preferred) or bedding, pillow, towels (old), personal toiletries, modest bathing suit (one-piece only), rainwear, warm clothes (long sleeves, long pants, sweatshirt), old sneakers for water activities, flashlight, fishing equipment (if desired). For Girls: dresses may be worn on special occasions. At other times, walking shorts or pants or worn. No short shorts or tank tops, please. Casual modest clothing.

WHAT NOT TO BRING: Radios, i-pods, tape or CD players, knives, skate boards, roller blades, TV's, cell phones (Sankanac has a no cell phone/no call home policy), beepers, electronic games, aerosols products, inappropriate t-shirts, cigarettes, comic books, chewing gum, laser products, etc. Any alcohol, tobacco, or drug paraphernalia will demand immediate dismissal. Revealing or immodest clothing is not permitted.
